Any know when or if there will ever be new shows?
I remember years ago, they had a funny science show megaten ,the shogun drama, a show on a wide weird variety of topics - best sushi, best tonkatsu, a specific city-kind of like "my homeland" but more quirky, I think it was called Tsuseki or something like that and one of my favorites Hagure-Keiji
It was great seeing all these shows. Now it's the same thing week after week, While I know a lot has to do with the 1 hour block of programming (use to be 2) I just wish it was more than just current affairs and the same music videos. The other short programs are the only reason
I still watch. I was so excited to see it back on the air.It use to be on WNYC on saturday mornings. They use to alternate the dramas (I think) so you had something different each week. Those were the days! I still have several video tapes of stuff I recorded then.
There was another Japanese/English show for a little while (can't remember the name) It had some brief news, a short show on NYC happenings and some drama
